It is located next to the train station which is very convenient. The communal areas are very nice. The staff were very polite and friendly. The check-in/check-out were fast and straightforward.
My room was very cold. I switched on the heating, the light was on but it didn’t heat up the room.

Looked like it had been recently refurbished, good location, reasonably priced, good breakfast
Portraits over the bed (frames difficult to keep dust free). Parking charges - maybe if staying at hotel these should be reduced as no hotel parking

Location was brilliant and parking was ideal
The room wasn't the cleanest, was the nail clipping in bathroom and a blood finger print on the back of the bathroom door. Room 233.
We rang up and asked if there was a fridge in the room to store milk for the baby and were told no there isn't but were told we could call guest services and they would provide us with some milk, we got to hotel and asked for whole milk and were told the hotel didn't have any so I had to run to Waitrose before it closed in 20 minutes to get milk for baby.

Bed was comfy and hotel in a good location, staff were friendly
Paid for one of the deluxe rooms but it was far from deluxe, a tired room with broken furniture and weird stains on the walls and curtains. Room felt alot smaller than the photos and even felt smaller than a standard hotel room, room was noisy as had an outside terrace right outside the window that people decided to sit at at 7am

It was in an ideal location to walk into the centre. The hotel was beautiful. Check in and check out was really easy.
We struggled working the heater/air con so was very warm at night untill we figured out how to use it in the morning. The bed we was in was not a double but two single mattresses together and the one I was sleeping on was sloping down like I was sleeping on a hill. So I did not have the best of sleeps. We had even upgraded to a superior room so would have expected a decent bed.

Not much !
Since it has changed hands , this hotel has gone downhill! Parking - £30 for one night ! Check-in , i arrived at 3.15 pm and was told I couldn't check in till 4pm, then the reception were abrupt and rude and then offered to let me check-in for an additional cost !! The bar prices are high , and when I requested them to add breakfast to my bill I found they had charged me for 2 !! I have stayed here on numerous occasions, I will NOT be returning !
