Disappointing
Lovely building
Room was absolutely freezing called reception they put heating on but made no difference warmest room was the bathroom due to towel rail. I also booked a table prior to arrival , checked booking when checking in confirmed booking only to find when I arrived at 7pm in the restaurant they had no booking for me managed to get a table for 7.30pm only when I showed proof of booking on numerous WhatsApp messages from an Amanda who apparently is Ai. Ordered food that then took 50 minutes to arrive . So not great as then had to sleep in a freezing room.

Property was in a good location.
However paid for the junior suite - bath was filthy and when filling with water black dirt came out so couldn't use the bath - on a room I paid £250 for
Suprised was ruined on multiply occasions by the receptionist due to him saying several times regarding the room and wine I ordered - very disappointing as I told him several times to stop saying it.
All in all very poor experience and I won't be staying again.

Perfect location as we got the train into Chester. The staff were helpful from arrival and the hotel was beautiful.
