Location,across from train station and walkable into centre of Chester.
Few pubs and restaurantes near.
Room was freezing on arrival.
Could here external noises on street throughout the night ,we where on 7th floor.

Disappointing
Room just been painted so acceptable
Food was only just warm and served on cold plates. Very unacceptable and staff ignored this when men. Paid for a evening meal that was extremely bad for the money.

Bar service was excellent. They made a good (although expensive) hot whisky toddy.
Food. Breakfast was poor for the price. More fresh fruit and cold buffet expected. Needed cheese and meat selection for continental style breakfast. The restaurant on Sunday evening was not up to standard. I sent my chicken pie back as there was so little filling. The young manager on duty was good and brought me a different meal and apologized as usual chef not working on Sundays. This needs to improve or offer a limited menu on Sunday that the chef a make.

The grandness of the outside and inside, beautiful building
Our room was in a modern attachment, which was very lovely, but I booked the hotel because I liked the old building, perhaps could be indicated when booking

Close proximity to city centre, approx 10-15 min walk.
Had dinner at the restaurant - great food.
Parking was limited and public car park is first come first serve so if you are planning to arrive later in the day/evening, this may not be a good option.

Beautiful hotel with big rooms and comfortable bedding. Wonderful staff.

Good location across from train station and short walk to city centre
Toilet brush in corridor on arrival. Tight corridors and small beds for price. Breakfast was very poor, Luke warm with minimal flavour. Only jam flavour was apricot and thimbles instead of glasses for juice!

Lovely hotel, staff very polite it is only 5 min walk to the centre .
We booked a junior suite it was very clean, only issues the tv didn't work properly in the bathroom and some of the window latches were broken so could not open them.

Lovely chilled vibe in the hotel. We stayed in the suite and it was lovely and spacious
The telly was broken in the bedroom of the suite, but they provided us with free lunch as compensation.
