Wonderful
Huge room, really comfortable bed and pillows, nice bathroom with decent sheer power. Air con was fantastic, especially with the heat we experienced during our stay.
Staff were very helpful and friendly too
Nothing really, the only very small thing the room was a bit tired and the decor dated, compared to our last stay,

The parking. Warning signs on arrival. No obvious signage for charging points. Required to run to reception miles away to get directions. And in response to the question “and do I have to pay for parking as well as charging?” The answer no was legally correct but hugely unhelpful, given that I needed to reguster my reg no on a machine somewhere in order to avail of free parking while charging.

Sausages at breakfast were lovely.
Breakfast not the best quality ingredients or availability of choice. Could have been hotter.

A little bit dated; mold around the shower, very slow wash basin drain. Tea/coffee/cups not renewed every day.

Great location. Friendly staff. One lady in particular behind reception(very glam,cant remember her name)was welcoming from the moment we went in to hotel with our sausage dogs. Great sized rooms.
Coffee pod machine was lovely. Lovely garden/courtyard. Downstairs was lovely in reception/bar/dining area
The rooms could do with a little bit of TLC! I understand its an old building but it could do with a lick of paint and maybe some better quilts/ pillows,maybe a lamp in bedroom too. Bathrooms could also be updated.

The location was convenient to the train and tourist areas. The room was very clean and had great light. The hotel is a lovely building with character but updated for comfort.
