Good location. The bed was comfortable. Good sized bathroom. Had a large TV.
The bed seemed to be on the small side of a double. Our room was right next to the lift which was irritating as that's what we heard all night/early morning. The drinks in the bar were more on the expensive side too.

The check in service was quick and easy, the staff were really nice. We had a meal at the hotel which was lovely, lots of choice and good size portions. Great value for money. The rooms were lovely and very spacious, very comfy. Would definitely stay there again.
We got told the room service was on a text or call service from Whatsapp but that didn't work so we wasn't able to get room service.

1. The sink was blocked.
2. The door outside my room used to bang shut (the soft close mechanism was broken).
3. The heated towel rack was full of dust, probably not dusted in over a year, if at all.
See above.
4. There were no customer trays in the breakfast area, necessitating many trips to the food area to collect hot food, cereal, toast, coffee, drinks, etc.
5. The wood outside the bedroom window on windowsill was decaying.
The toilet roll was of an inferior quality.

Wonderful hotel. Great breakfast. Right at the train station. A bit of walk to town but pretty easy. Staff at the hotel were really great and very helpful.
Room was a bit small with a weird indentation making it very difficult to get to the bed from the left side.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. I love the old style charm.
There was no bottled water, fridge or safe in the room. I was carrying expensive gifts that I felt uncomfortable leaving in the room. Because of that, I opted to not have my room cleaned that day. As a bonus they gave me a free drink. I thought that was a nice gesture. A bottle of water and/or a fridge would have made my stay more enjoyable. All in all, it was a nice hotel. I would come back again.

The comfort of the room. It was spacious with two chairs, coffee including a tub and shower. The location across from the train station next to a bus stop and a short walk to town made it very convenient.

Nice spacious room in a convenient location - right by the train station and within walking distance of downtown. Excellent cooked breakfast with lots of options. Friendly staff. Laundry services available for a reasonable fee.

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were stunning.
Lifts were a bit annoying. Very small for the size of the hotel. We both have bad backs otherwise we would of used stairs. I was really ill on the day of the stay so had to stay in the suite. So sad didn't get to explore more of the hotel.

The hotel was amazing! Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
I would especially like to single out Charmaine Rupa who works in the restaurant. She was exceptionally wonderful and represented all that was worthy of praise in the hotel. I travel often and this was the best staffed hotel I’ve encountered in years.
