The hotel is right next to the station. It has a lift but there are stairs to the front door so a heavy suitcase or mobility problems could be an issue. The rooms are lovely (I had the smallest kind on the highest floor but the bathroom was huge). The staff are friendly and the bar bright and pretty. They were able to help with gluten free options. A good stay.

Fantastic location, as a historic building it’s been nicely decorated and well looked after.
The connecting corridor to the modern building is somewhat confused and makes getting back to your room a bit of a nightmare after going out drinking in Chester.

Everything about the hotel was very good. Staff lovely, room great, very comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Would have been nice to stay for longer but the 2 night price was nowhere near as good value as 1 night. Car park on site quite expensive watch out!

Very comfortable bed, convienient for the City Centre. Nice lounge and bar areas.
There was a smell on the ground floor corridor constantly. It appeared to be coming from the Gents toilets.
Breakfast a bit disappointing.

The public areas are very well maintained. It's what you see when you first arrive, and you are Very impressed. Staff excellent. Restaurant food excellent. The SHOWER was great. Very hot and power wonderful.
Unfortunately bedrooms very poorly maintained and serviced. Things not being replaced in room, once used . Everything needed a good deep clean.

Staff were lovely, the space was fantastic, and the convenient location was perfect
A few areas in the room were a bit grubby - the lampshades were quite visibly dirty which was disappointing given how lovely the space was
